Farmer’s Market & Food Bank

farmers-marketThe gardens on the grounds teach the residents how to plant, grow and harvest food that they in turn are able to prepare and cook for their meals as well as provide produce for the Food Bank and to sell at the local Farmers Market.

What We Offer Through The Food Bank

Local Food Bank: a partnership with the Wichita Food Bank and donations provided by local donors, the women prepare and deliver food boxes monthly to families in and around Abilene.

Testimonial

“This has been an amazing journey for me to be a part of. The greatest joy is watching the women who come to live at The Cedar House blossom as they regain control over their lives that addiction had destroyed.” – Cindy
